In The Beginning

Since the early 1960s, I was so intrigued by how things worked that there were many times when I was either shocked, burned, scalded, cut, scratched, bruised and other assunderies that a pattern began to emerge. I was actually leaning toward a science type occupation. It wasn't until I was about 12 years old that I discovered radios and wanted to know how they got the voice from one end of the town to the other without wires. So I studied.  Because of things like my mother having a CB and a bunch of her friends having CBs I learned a lot about CBs. Nothing wrong with that I guess. Because of an accident which happened in Northern Los Angeles California I (then living in Las Vegas New Mexico) was grounded for a year by my mother when one of her friends heard the accident, thought it was a local accident, told her that I was interfering with that accident. It came out on the news later that night but the damage had been done.

I had become addicted to electronics  . . .
